What a fun day! This morning Linda Prior, butterfly educator, and I gave a presentation to the Washington Elementary Summer Program in Moline, IL on the life cycle of a monarch butterfly, how to care for them, and I read my book Flight of the Butterfly to them. Here you will see the news coverage that we received.
Students had an opportunity to make the life cycle of a monarch caterpillar, as well as make a butterfly flower stick, and release two monarch butterflies.
